Principal's Welcome Message

Welcome to the St. Mary Catholic Secondary School website. This easy to use website has been developed to provide pertinent information for our school community.

As your Principal, I am no stranger to this community as I am a graduate of St. Mary, Class of 1975. In those beginning years, under the leadership of the first Principal, Father Fergus Duffy, St. Mary was established in what is now the Cathedral of Christ the King Chancery Office, and the former Christ the King elementary school. It is my intention to carry on the important traditions and practices that have been established throughout the years. St. Mary has a proud tradition of academic excellence and thriving athletic and co-instructional programs. As a faith based community, we continuously demonstrate our commitment to Christian service involvement, social justice issues and faith formation.

We are so thankful for the gift of Catholic Education and this gift would not be afforded to us without the continued support of our staff and the parents of our community. We look forward to working together to provide our students the opportunity to grow academically, physically and spiritually. It is important that we continue to celebrate and promote our distinctiveness as a Catholic School community, so as to ensure our unique identity.

Our school community is enhanced by the partnerships and relationships we develop with parents, parish and the broader community. As parents/guardians we encourage and invite you to peruse the website for information and to view the successes and accomplishments of our students. We welcome you to be involved in your child’s education and to become an active participant during their high school years.

God Bless you, and as always I look forward to working in this great community.
